Who are you and what do you do?
I'm Konk, 23. I'm a DJ, Graffitti Artist, Promoter and Visual Artist.
I suppose I'm known as the first Irish graffiti artist to be name-checked in the New York Times and also the first street artist to do covers for le cool Dublin.
I was famously brought before the High Courts for criminal damage and fined €13,500 (most ever for a graffiti artist). I also got a two year suspended sentance and 240 hours of community service.
I've been a DJ since 16, playing Boogie, 80's, Funk, House and as a warm up act for Krystal Klear. I'm also involved in a new graffiti campaign for DADDY OR CHIPS in the Good Bits which is opening on Oct 2nd.
