Who are you and what do you do?
I am Vera Reshto, originally from Belarus, working as a freelance graphic designer and currently living in Dublin.
Tell us more about this cover?
The theme for this cover was inspired by current weather conditions, winter and hibernation. I wanted it to be fun and playful with each of the characters animated differently. My favourite bit is the killing of the budgie.
How do you create your stuff?
First: get inspired, not only design work by others, but by simply looking around, talking to people, then: a lot of research (my favourite bit), generation of a lot of visuals, then the production stage. Its always interesting to try new material, but also to go back to hand drawn animation, linocut.
