Guerrilla Exhibition
Most of us have taken the walk through Dublin city centre so many times that our eyes have pretty much glazed over to the sights around us, Templar Bar? - Pshh! tourist trap. O’Connell Street? - Bus car park. The list goes on an on with many equally uninspired responses. However, a group of innovative and creative DIT photography students have accepted the challenge the people of this city have set them and are heading into battle with their cameras at the ready. Every week this group select a secret location in Dublin to adorn with their photographs as a way of highlighting parts of the city that are ignored, forgotten about, or have potential to be something amazing. So the next Friday you’re talking a stroll in town keep your eyes glaze free, you never know where these guerilla photographers will strike next. / Ruth Aravena
